The Best of Both Worlds

Page history last edited by Constance Cooper 14 years, 11 months ago

Partial mainstreaming is the approach of teaching that allows students to spend half of the day in a residental school and the other half in a public school. This allows the student to have the best of both worlds. With this approach deaf students are exposed to other deaf students as well as hearing students. This can truly prepare a student for real life situations. Cooperative communications amongst the residential and public school teachers could really have a great impact on the educational success of their students.
